Part of the Carlisle Museum.
The museum reflects more than 300 years of the military history of a number of local regiments including the Border regiment and Kings Own Royal Border.
From 1702, right up to and including the current operations in Afghanistan, each period is detailed with a number of exhibits. The photos showing the regiment serving in Northern Ireland are very thought provoking.
There are a few interactive displays, and although the museum is situated on just one floor, there's plenty to look at for a good 2 hours.
