Kirkleatham Museum is home to a treasure trove of artefacts and exhibitions all housed within a magnificent 1709 Queen Anne building.
The museum features a wide range of exhibitions covering local social, maritime and industrial heritage. Kirkleatham Museum also plays host to an annual programme of exciting family events, musical performances and seasonal activities.
The museum is embarking on a major re-modelling of its displays after the huge success of the Gertrude Bell exhibition which will retain a permanent presence. Building on the successes of 2016, Kirkleatham will once again host Festival of Thrift, and a new exhibition showcasing robots from cinema blockbusters and a wide range of community activities including walks and historical talks.
