Nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Arnside is a hidden gem popular with visitors and locals alike. Unique, family run shops and galleries line the pretty Promenade, many selling products designed and made by local artists.

Enjoy the stunning views across Morecambe Bay while relaxing in one of the many cafes or enjoy a meal and drink sat outside the Albion. If you time it right, you’ll witness the famous ‘tidal bore’ as the tide comes rushing in. The surge of the incoming tide can create a tidal wave which is spectacular to watch. If you enjoy fishing, this can be the perfect time for a good catch.

Apart from the shops, visitors to Arnside come for the scenic walks, history and varied wildlife. Walk up Arnside Knott and enjoy stunning views of the Lakeland Fells and Coast line; or take a more gentle stroll along the Promenade and round the Bay.

No visit to Arnside would be complete without sampling the popular ‘fish and chips’ and a locally produced ice-cream. Take in the spectacular sunsets while sat on the Pier and you’ll want to book to stay a few more days.
