Artists and craftsmen at the Stained Glass Centre design, make and restore stained glass windows using the same techniques that were used over a 1000 years ago. They also produce lampshades and mirrors using the copper foil technique invented in the 19th century, most commonly referred to as the 'Tiffany' style.
We chart the history of the art and craft of stained glass from medieval times to the present day. Our flameworking expert can be found on most days demonstrating glass making techniques. You can visit our showroom for a unique shopping experience. We can also take commissions for creating pieces as well as repairs and restoration.
